Credentialled Specialists Register
As part of the process of development of standards for accreditation of nuclear medicine practices, a Register of credentialled specialists in nuclear medicine has been created by ANZAPNM in consultation with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) and Department of Health and Ageing (DHA).
The purpose of the Register is to allow the Health Insurance Commission (HIC) to identify specialists who will be ‘eligible providers’ under the Medicare arrangement. This means that their patients will be eligible to receive Medicare benefits for nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
Further information is available from the ANZAPNM Secretariat.
Disclaimer
Please note that the ANZAPNM cannot provide any details of credentialled nuclear medicine specialists, nor does the Association provide referrals to nuclear medicine specialists.
